A. Eligibility

This  PGL Society is a membership organization enrolling individuals or groups as members. They may be enrolled as provided here under:

a. Life Members

All individuals having B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture or Horticulture degree, having paid the prescribed life membership fee will be admitted to the membership in the Society. Moreover, the graduates of Agricultural or Plant Sciences working on horticultural crops can also become life members. To remain life members, person must hold a good moral and professional standing to remain life members of Pak Green landscape society.

b. Regular Members

All individuals having B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture or Horticulture degree, having paid the prescribed annual membership fee will be admitted to the membership in the Society. Moreover, the graduates of Agricultural or Plant Sciences working on horticultural crops can also become regular members.

c. Students Members

Students of Agriculture or Horticultural Sciences, Agricultural Sciences or Plant Sciences, having completed B.Sc. (Hons.) can get the membership of the Society.

d. Honorary Fellows

National or international Agriculture or horticulture experts may become honorary fellow of the Society. A person may be conferred the honorary fellowship of the Society in recognition of his/her long and distinguished career in Horticulture or agricultural sciences. The proposal for honorary fellowship is to be submitted in writing to the General Secretary of the Society by six members and it would be approved by 2/3rd majority vote in the General Body meeting. The number of honorary fellows shall not exceed ten at any one time. They shall be exempted from payment of all dues and shall enjoy all the privileges of members.

e. Corporate Members

– Private firms national or international involved in horticultural or allied businesses may get corporate membership annually, having paid their prescribed membership fee for 1-2 years.

Membership Fee

The fee for membership will be as per following table, which may be reviewed and changed annually by the Executive Council of the Society.

  • Life Membership PKR 5,000/- (one-time)
  • Regular Membership PKR 1,000/- (annual)
  • Student Membership PKR 500/- (annual)
  • Honorary Fellows PKR 1000/- (one-time)
  • Corporate Membership PKR 20,000/- (annual)

1. Fiscal Year

The fiscal year will be calendar year (from January 1 to December 31) and next year membership would need to renew before January 1 every year.
